In my professional life, the scale models have always conceived as a very important development of the project. Working with easily moldable materials such as clay, we can come and go in the process, changing the way of the project easily. In recent years we have experimented with a new technology, a smart scale model, which allows laser instrumentation by the digital representation of real object, models of fiberglass, bronze, concrete, resins...

In the conceptual stages of design process the development of scale models will play a significant role, and in these early stages where the architects develop our spirit of craftsman in the most expressive way. This manual spirit to approach the project, working from the scale model, has two aspects: first a strong component compositional formalist, and another, equally important, functional-rational, that will generate a volume manipulating all these components: sensation, expressiveness, adequacy of the program, dialogue with the environment, guidelines. All this provides a working method in which REASON & EMOTION dialogue uninterrupted.
